Built for artist Linda Burnham, and designed by architect Stan Allen, this building is a personal studio and also a meeting/work space for her artist-in-residency program in Roanoke, VA. Composed of two large gable stuctures set at 9 degree angles to each other, the building reflects its mountainous setting. Exposed concrete walls, concrete panels, and metal roof define the exterior. Light fills into the interior volumes, and a large Nanawall sliding door opens to the stone courtyard.
